Michael Vick has officially signed for the Philadelphia Eagles! He hasn't played professional football since 2006 when he was charged and jailed for conspiracy and running a dog fighting operation.
It is a very controversial signing but regardless of his life outside of football, Vick is a great player. I can see him fitting into the Philadelphia team. It'll take time before he reaches his peak of ability again but that shouldn't take too long.
It's a very, very controversial reaction from the fans though. Some see that he is a good player and are reasonably happy to see a quality player of his nature on the team. Some Eagle fans still hold his charge against him. I can understand both views. Here is a clip of why they should be happy that he is on the team:
